Room above the main entrance creates echo issues. sounds of the bar and guests arriving can be disruptive. Bedding for the sofa bed was insufficient, missing essentials like a duvet cover. On weekends, the bar area can get quite noisy, which might not suit those looking for a quiet retreat.

Ideal stopover for a couple seeking comfort
The room was spacious, clean and well stocked with tea and coffee, worth mentioning was how comfy the bed was, I mean like sleeping on clouds. Had a fantastic dinner. the sirloin I ordered was cooked perfectly and the staff made sure we were well taken care of, I actually felt relaxed for once.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but for what we got, I’d say it was acceptable.

Our stay was quite enjoyable. The room was spacious, and the huge four-poster bed made it really comfortable. Dining was a highlight—both dinner and breakfast offered generous portions and good quality. The hotel is conveniently located in the town center, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like Victoria Park. Though there was a bit of noise from downstairs, it didn't distract from our overall experience too much.

Cozy spot with great food
Had a nice stay in a spacious room. The dining was a highlight—super fresh veggies, especially the cauliflower cheese! Only bummer was the noise from the bar below kept me up a bit. The staff were lovely, and they even sorted me a breakfast tray when I needed to eat early. comfy vibe!

The location provides easy access to local shops and attractions, making it convenient for a weekend getaway. The restaurant's decor is quite charming, adding to the overall ambiance, and the full English breakfast served here is extensive and well-prepared, a definite highlight of the stay.
The room faced the front entrance, leading to considerable noise from late-night arrivals. it's like an echo chamber when the door opens and closes. The bedding situation was less than ideal, with only cushions on the sofa bed instead of proper sheets and duvet, making it uncomfortable. the lounge area had sticky tables and infrequent toilet cleaning, detracting from the hotel's otherwise nice atmosphere. There was also a lingering smell of sewage in the reception area that could be quite off-putting.
